Wallace & Wallace Lawyers is a progressive mid sized firm of approximately 15 – 20 solicitors (including partners) and a total staff complement of approximately 40.

We currently are looking to fill the following positions.

Graduate Lawyer

We seek a graduate lawyer to join our team of lawyers in the litigation section of the firm which comprises:-

  1. Personal Injury Law;
  2. Commercial Litigation;
  3. Criminal Law;
  4. Family Law.

We are a mid sized firm of approximately 16 professional staff and a total staff of approximately 40 people. The firm is highly regarded and has been established for over 40 years. The firm is organised into teams that practice in most areas of the law. There are 10 lawyers in the litigation section of the firm. The Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation and Family Law teams are all led by QLS Accredited Specialists in their respective fields.

The firm provides CPD and supports further study to assist career development. Involvement with associated industry organisations is also encouraged and paid for. We also have an active Social Club.

Ideally the successful Applicant will be able to commence work in September 2018. The firm encourages applications from graduates who:-

  1. have a connection with Mackay or similar regional area or a real desire to work in Mackay;
  2. are looking to develop and progress their career and are willing to stay in Mackay in the long term; and
  3. have good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Applicants should identify any interest or experience in any particular field of litigation when forwarding their Applications.   Applications close on 31 August 2018. Interviews are anticipated to be conducted in early September.   4. Ideally, Applicants will have completed their Practical Legal Training. However the firm will consider Applications from those who have not yet graduated but are willing to commence work prior to completing their degree.
