Personal Injury Solicitor

We seek a personal injuries solicitor to become an important part of our expanding Personal Injuries team. We are a mid sized firm of 21 solicitors with an approximate total staff of 60. We practise extensively in commercial & property law and all fields of litigation law. The firm has an active social club sponsored by the partners with regular functions throughout the year.

The position offers the successful candidate a genuine opportunity to undertake a variety of practical work. We do not undertake medical negligence or many occupier claims so we can concentrate on WorkCover and motor vehicle claims. The firm actively supports additional education and will assist the right applicant to undertake further study for career development. Involvement with associated industry organisations is encouraged and arranged for you.

The firm will cover annual membership fees for ALA and appropriate PI seminars throughout the year. Reasonable relocation expenses will be discussed. Introductions to local real estate agents to help rent or buy a home or unit can be provided.

It is envisaged the successful candidate will:

• have approximately 2 to 5 years post admission experience.
• be able to demonstrate that excellent outcomes can be achieved in a timely, detailed and ethical manner.
• be making a positive career move to us; and
• have the conduct of his/her own files involving substantial claims with the support of accredited personal injuries specialist Brad Shanahan. Brad has over 20 years of personal injury and insurance law experience for plaintiffs and defendants.
